Several factors can impact the health of your scalp, including medication side effects, product buildup, improper hair care, environmental stressors, and lifestyle habits. Medical conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, fungal infections, dermatitis, and hormonal imbalances can also affect scalp health and hair growth. Additionally, treatments like chemotherapy and radiation can cause significant scalp sensitivity and hair damage. If you have any known dermatological conditions, are undergoing or have recently undergone chemotherapy or radiation, or experience persistent symptoms like severe itching, flaking, redness, sores, or unusual hair loss, it is important to consult with a dermatologist prior to your first hair appointment. A dermatologist can diagnose and treat underlying issues to ensure your scalp is healthy enough for hair treatments. Our Healing Hair Repair service supports scalp wellness but is not a substitute for professional medical care when clinical scalp conditions or treatment-related sensitivities are present.

During your first appointment, I will perform a comprehensive diagnostic to assess the current state of your hair and provide an estimate of the number of visits needed to fully restore it. In addition, I will recommend specific types of products that are best suited to support your hair’s healing process at home. Using the right products between treatments is essential to achieving and maintaining the best possible results.

Our Healing Hair Repair service is performed every 6 to 8 weeks to ensure optimal results and allow your hair the necessary time to recover between treatments. The total number of sessions required will vary on a case by case basis, depending on your hair’s current condition and response to the treatments.
